thegolfers15. “It will help speed up play”. burtonrubin@earthlink.net
A new golf tool from a man who is always ahead of the curve, or slice.
Burt Rubin has been designing smart, ergonomic consumer products for over 40 years. He considers his newest creation, thegolfers15, one of the finest of all. The Superintendent of the Pelham/Split Rock Golf Courses in NYC, Tony Hooks, has stated, “Great product. You have a winner. It will help speed up play!”
Mr. Rubin’s Halleyscope was the “Best Buy” in Consumers Digest Magazine. An astro-photographer who now does work for NASA claims that his first astro-photography was done through a Halleyscope during his teens. The Museum of Modern Art Design Store has sold Mr. Rubin’s evopen continuously for 16 years. The Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum of The Smithsonian Institution, accessioned 25 prototypes and various production models of the evopen into its permanent collection. The pen, with its unique design, was the first pen to receive an “Ease of Use” commendation from The Arthritis Foundation and one of its “solutions” to writing. The evopen has sold millions through museum & therapeutic distribution channels around the world since 1993.
The development of these earlier and other products provided the experience which has gone into the creation of thegolfers15. Ease of use and an understanding of the sport each played an important part in its design. A golfer since his early teens, Mr. Rubin is very familiar with the tools golfers need in every round of play. He chose seven of the most useful golf tools and integrated them into one ergonomic product that easily fits into any pocket. It is made of space age materials and is super light. He jokingly states “there are really 8 golf tools you need, but the sand rake was much too large.”
Why it is called the15? The rules of golf allow players to carry 14 clubs in their bags. #7 was taken. Golf is all about ball control and accuracy. Keeping your equipment clean is essential to improving your game and scoring well. Clean clubs allow for maximum club to ball contact.
Players will now have a problem-solving instrument to help with routine & organization. The seven-in-one multi-tool has built-in tees, tee receptacle, special surfaces covered with Scotch-Brite*® for cleaning the club face & the ball, a smart marker & marker holder and a super rigid high tech material used for making the fork for turf & green restoration.
thegolfers15 can also be used to hold your clubs above ground in wet conditions and the entire chassis of thegolfers15 has been designed to serve as a comfortable ergonomic handle while using many of the applications. Every tool you need on the course, in one handy product. No more searching pockets for the right tool. It’s all there. And no other tool has all these golf features. Only thegolfers15.
The overall design of thegolfers15 is elegant and the ergonomically-fashioned curves and edges allow for maximum hand comfort, leverage, control and movement. This may be the most useful, well-designed and efficient golf tool on the market at any price. At a suggested retail price of $9.95, it is easily affordable for both adults and junior golfers. Please go to www.thegolfers15.com for more information. Now available at The New York Golf Center, Sprain Lake Golf Course, Woodstock Golf Course, and eventually wherever golf equipment is sold.
